Terms & Conditions
By submitting my title for membership, I hereby agree to the following terms.
I, also known as “member,” own the rights to the title(s) and/or have the legal authority to enter into this agreement for the title(s) I am submitting. I agree to have the image of my book(s), descriptions, ordering and pricing information and purchasing link, hereafter referred to as “content,” posted on Book Promotion Network.com, hereafter referred to as BPN.
I agree to allow other members to purchase the aforementioned content to promote my book on their website. I will not receive any compensation from said members for promoting my books. Any affiliate agreements entered into between members and/or third parties will be outside the scope and legal responsibility of BPN.
If I choose to promote the books of other members, I will only receive BPN points for content I post on the one (1) website I have officially designated as my “hosting website.” Any changes in designation must be submitted to and received by BPN in writing before the designation will be changed. All points will become null and void should the website cease operation prior to a new website is named in its place. I will only post said content on websites for which I have the legal authority to do so. I agree to add the content in good faith of the author’s expectations. I will not alter the content or any other promotional materials given to me with the intention of defaming, misleading or in any way causing financial or other harm to the author, publisher, BPN, or the book(s) itself.
BPN is indemnified from any responsibility for improper usage of images or descriptions of the books. As a BPN member I hereby indemnify and shall keep indemnified the Administrator(s) or Owner(s) in respect to any loss or damage action claim suit or proceeding against its administrator(s) or Owner(s) and further that, such indemnification shall extend to any financial outlay expended by me, people I refer to the program, or people that have referred me, such that the administrator(s) and/or owner(s) shall not be held liable in any way.
BPN will make every reasonable effort to ensure files sent to members are free of computer viruses and worms, but the administrator(s) cannot and will not guarantee the safety of the files. I understand it is my sole responsibility to acquire and maintain a virus detection system on my computer to minimize the risk to me. I indemnify BPN in respect to any damages I sustain due to infected files. I will also scan my files fir viruses before submitting them to BPN to minimize risk to BPN systems and fellow members.
I also understand the administrator(s) and/or owner(s) do not and cannot guarantee that I will earn income from joining BPN. I further understand BPN cannot guarantee my book will be selected for cross promotion by any of its members.
Membership: BPN has the right to refuse membership to anyone promoting works that may be considered offensive to the general public or BPN administrator(s). BPN management will not allow URL submissions from adult web sites. Membership requests using profane, offensive or sexually explicit images or language in their submission will be rejected. No profanity, offensive or sexually explicit images are to be used on websites promoting other member’s books. Doing so will result in expulsion and immediate termination of membership without refund.
Upon acceptance of membership, I will supply the required content to BPN. The information must be an accurate representation of the book and its contents. My book(s) must be available for purchase on the website link I supply. I am solely responsible for supplying accurate and active links for my titles. Should a link become inactive, it is my sole responsibility to notify BPN and replace it with a new working link. Membership contracts are available for six (6) and twelve (12) month periods and begin at midnight (12am) Pacific Time on the day my book is added to the BPN website.
I understand cancellations of memberships will not be granted if my content has already been added to the BPN site; I further understand refunds will only be granted in the event that the company goes out of business. In that event, I will only receive a pro-rated refund for unused term of the membership. In the event of significant BPN website outage of more than 72 hours, an extension to said contract for an equal time of the outage will be granted upon request. Memberships will not be extended for outages of any member or third party websites or for incorrect or inactive links given to BPN by the member.
I agree to receive the occasional promotional email from BPN.
BPN management has a zero tolerance for spamming. Any substantiated offence may result in your immediate expulsion from the BPN. We respect your email privacy and will never share, sell, or rent your address to another party.
I understand and agree that these terms and conditions may be added to / updated in the future and as soon as they are published on this website I agree to abide by the new terms of use.
